BAALYA - Portraying childhood stories of mythological characters was first staged on May 31st 2014 . It was big success and received raving reviews about the show. Due to popular demand it is set to be re - staged in OCT 2014

Innovative ‘cosMix of Dance, Rhythm, and Music

Nrityakalya presented its 2nd production Cosmix- Innovative Rhythms Through Times, exploring nature’s evolutionary passage and elemental glory. Dancers, comprising artistic director Janani Narayanan, Nrityakalya’s students, a traveling troupe (Srishti-The Creation), and independent performing artists; will showcase a fusion of classical, folk, and western music and dance-styles. Cosmix was featured on Sunday, Sep 19 and was the second SOLD OUT show.

Bellz'n' Beats - Oct 2009

First home production Bellz ‘n’ Beats was staged on Oct,25th 2009, Palo Alto, CA.The program crossed the boundaries of imagination with dances across styles and forms, including classical, semi-classical, folk dance from South India as well as western elements. Vivid costumes of fine silk and hand-designed sets will grace the stage and provide an eye-catching backdrop. Bellz ‘n’ Beats was a unique show that encompassed virtuoso A.R.Rahman’s electrifying melodies as well as graceful ballads and rhythmic ensembles from other renowned musicians.

Bellz ‘n’ Beats was a SOLD OUT show. 310 tickets were completely sold 2 weeks prior to the show.
